Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol - Upsell and promote drink specials and menu items to increase sales - Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate cash drawer - Assist in restocking inventory and replenishing supplies as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred - Strong math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change accurately - Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus - Knowledge of different beer styles is an asset - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
