Job Summary The Evaluator I is responsible for evaluating transcripts and certifications for all students transferring to Columbia Southern University from other institutions, domestic and/or foreign.
Essential Job Tasks Additional duties may be assigned Evaluates transfer credit by reviewing transcripts and professional certifications to determine whether course requirements meet the university's criteria for selected degree programs Reviews documents related to transfer credit (e.
g.
, course syllabi, course descriptions, college catalogs) and contacts previously attended schools to obtain information, when necessary Conducts research and benchmarks other institutions to learn transfer credit best practices Supports department leadership by obtaining the necessary information to successfully complete projects to meet the needs of the University Promotes, maintains, and enhances workplace culture within the Office of the Registrar and the University Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Software use includes Blackboard, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal database software.
Work Environment This is a hybrid position and should have an established office with secure and reliable internet when working remotely.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
